The Folio application facilitates the preparation and execution of print projects by enabling users to create booklets that are assembled, folded, and stapled in a manner resembling a traditional book.
With this tool, it is possible to produce various types of booklets, including:
- folio, with pages folded in two
- quarto, with pages folded in four
- six, with pages folded in six
- octavo, with pages folded in eight
Version 2 introduces automation for the entire PDF preparation process, streamlining workflow efficiency.
Folio is accessible in five languages: English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian. It is compatible with iOS 11 and later on iPhone or iPad devices. Dark mode support is included starting from iOS 13.
Note: If your high-end printer automatically handles layout arrangements such as Quarto or Six, the 'in Folio' app may not be necessary for production. However, it can serve as a valuable resource for understanding the specific details involved in these processes.
